Civic Engagement Center of Licking County

Mission: Provide housing/home buying assistance to low income families in the east Newark, OH area

Programs: The organization provides housing for qualifying low income families. The H. O. M. E. Program (home ownership made easy) which teaches qualifying low income families how to prepare finances for the mortgage application process, is administered at the community house.

Woven began with the prayers of one woman and has become an answer to the prayers of thousands! Woven is a sisterhood devoted to knowing and loving each other as we grow deeper in Christ. Our mission is Colossians 2:2-3:

Woven Women has a mission through planned events and outreach, but their monthly Woven women’s groups are the core of who they are. The Woven book provides a Leaders’ Guide and group material focused on developing relationships as we apply scripture to everyday life.
